Teachers reorient current curriculum units to address sustainability.

Purpose

To incorporate the five components of Education for Sustainable Development (knowledge, issues, skills, perspectives, and values) into the current curriculum.

Comments

For further explanation of the five components of ESD, please see Section III, Reorienting Education and Section IV, Process for Localizing the Global Initiative.

Group size: 1 to 36 participants.

Time Needed: 30 minutes to one hour per curriculum unit.
